Met BSI Alkalinity Up verhoogt u de alkaliniteit van uw zwembad of spa. Het is een snel oplossend poeder dat geen enkel residu nalaat in het bad. De “alkaliniteit†van het water geeft een idee van de mogelijkheid om pH-veranderingen te bufferen (dempen) wanneer BSI pH Up of BSI pH Down toegevoegd wordt.
De aanbevolen totale alkaliniteit bedraagt 80 - 150 ppm. Lage alkaliniteit (vb. door regen- of putwater) zal moeilijkheden veroorzaken bij de pH controle. Kleine hoeveelheden BSI pH up of pH Down zullen dan grote schommelingen teweeg brengen. Hoge alkaliniteit heeft dikwijls een hoge pH-waarde tot gevolg. Pas eerst de pH aan vooraleer de alkaliniteit te regelen. BSI Alkalinity Up stabiliseert het water!
GEBRUIKSAANWIJZING
De ideale alkaliniteit ligt tussen 80 en 150 ppm.
- Als de alkaliniteit van het water lager is dan 80 ppm dient met de alkaliniteit te verhogen met
BSI ALKALINITY UP.
- Indien de alkaliniteit van het water hoger is dan 150 ppm kan men de de alkaliniteit verlagen
met BSI PH DOWN poeder. Dit is echter een moeilijk proces en gebeurt best in verschillende
stappen, of door een deel van het water te vervangen.
